What is involved within this position: The successful individual will strategically and commercially analyse staffing structure, current processes, costings/pricings, approach and current infrastructure set-up - with the goal of making positive change to improve the 360 of everything related to aftersales. This crosses into the three different headers of Global Aftersales, Global Delivery and Global Technical Support. The successful individual will analyse performances, trends, metrics/insights and will strategically gear the department for scaling up over the next few years - looking at pricing strategy, operational costings, current service offerings and driving towards sustainable revenue and profit growth. The role is to comprehensively understand and know your market, increase aftersales, make efficiencies, spearhead new initiatives, engage and work with all relevant stakeholders building upon relationships, taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and focusing on increasing return business. The position takes responsibility for identifying and mitigating risks such as within supply chain - supplier diversification, inventory management strategies, and making contingency planning for disruptions. The role focuses towards the companies core “customer for life” model. Essential Criteria for this role: A minimum of 10+ years relevant experience within Global Technical Sales / Aftersales with similar heavy engineering machinery products A minimum of 5 years experience in a very Senior Sales / Aftersales Manager or Head of Sales / Head of Aftersales or Sales / Aftersales Director position Strong people skills with experience in managing larger teams that cover global sales, delivery and technical support Proven experience within strategy across a similar company at a high level A very commercially driven individual Experience in reporting to board level in a professional manner 3rd level relatable degree If this role is of interest; please apply with your updated CV or contact either Hugh Nugent or Darren McVicker for a confidential conversation and further information.
